Dead Meets Lead Challenge Demo

We've been reporting on the upcoming indie zombie-pirate action game Dead Meets Lead for a while now and this week the development team at Keldyn Interactive have released a single level demo from the game, The Challenge.

This demo has you controlling the main character in the swamp lands fighting and shooting against waves and waves of ever hungry zombies. If you manage to beat all of the waves you will find you name placed in the Challenge Hall of Fame web page. The full version of the game is available for pre-order and is set for release on May 3.

Dungeons Demo

In Dungeons, players design an underground lair to combat invading heroes and rival Dungeon Lords. This playable demo includes three levels, and completing them unlocks Survival Mode.

Miner Wars 2081 Demo

The pre-alpha demo for Miner Wars 2081. It has all the features that will be included in the full game, such as drilling, harvesting, weapons, etc. and will receive regular updates. However, demo players will be restricted to one sector of space. Players who want the full game can upgrade their account from within the demo or visit www.minerwars.com.

Also note that this is an early, pre-alpha, version of the game and should be considered as a work in progress. Updates and features will be added regularly. System requirements are shown after the jump.

This is the EU playable demo for the rescue themed real-time strategy game, Emergency 2012. Players manage over emergency response workers during a series of cataclysmic natural disasters. The demo includes the tutorial and two missions. A hurricane destroys the Cologne Cathedral in the first mission and the second involves a devastating landslide on Mt. Matterhorn. Blade Kitten Demo

Hm. Well.

I didn't hate that.

I hated the cutscenes, certainly. The writing is pretty awful - though Kit's exclamations as you do kickass stuff are pretty entertaining - and although the movement feels a little loose at first, I very quickly found myself feeling very comfortable in Blade Kitten's mechanics. It feels nice and platformy and exploratory and...

Yeah, not bad. Too bad it came on the same day as DeathSpank, and too bad it showed up just before the Fall Rush Of Games, 'cause if it had showed up four weeks ago I probably would have moved straight from that demo into a purchase.
