Introduction [80.02.01]
==============================================================================
Taken from the official site:
"In 1899, Oliver Lavisheart, young adventurous Englishman, accepts to help his
uncle Mathew to win a bet: going around the world in 80 days or less to
collect proof that the wacky uncle has created 4 major inventions in 4
different cities all around the world. Oliver follows Phileas Fogg's tracks
through Egypt, India, Japan, and finally to America. He has only 80 days, or
his uncle will lose his bet and will be ruined.
For this trip you will become Oliver, discover your uncle's fantastic talents,
his adventurous life and his secrets. You will also learn a lot about
yourself, the truth about your family and the true nature of this incredible
bet.
As the game progresses you will help a strange German Archeologist, rescue a
distressed - not overly bright actress from Bollywood, organize a SM contest,
win an elephant race, drive the biggest airship ever, find a way to make the
Scottish tartan the coolest street wear worldwide, fool a shogun's samurai,
burn your own boat to go faster, avoid the traps of inspector Fix's nasty son,
get into disguise, bribe, steal..."
This game is based on Jules Verne's most read book. Even though I never read
it, I'm sure they didn't stick to the book for most of the game. I know, I
know, I should read the book. Anyway, enjoy this guide ;)

Walkthrough [80.03.01]
==============================================================================
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue [80.03.02]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You're on a ship, and some bird flies into a bit of steam. Flashback time (I
know this makes sense).
You're in an office, and your uncle, Mathew, reads you a letter. Something
about getting maried and all. Our hero, Oliver, doesn't like that. His uncle
has an offer - travel around the world in 80 days, do some stuff, and not get
married. Long story short - we'll travel around the world.
So there we are again, on a ship, heading to Cairo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cairo [80.03.03]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now it's time for serious business ;p As soon as you enter the scene, a man
will tell you, you can't enter the city for 24 hours. The dear man doesn't
know were only have 80 days, and every hour counts.
Close to the man who's saying this, lies a bar. Pick it up, since we need it a
bit later. Talk with the various people if you want. Just make sure you head
down the stairs, and find a boat on your left. Use the bar on the chain (open
your inventory with I, select it with O or P, and press enter when the chain
is selected on your screen) to free the boat.
So know all we need to do is get to the harbors of Cairo. Nothing hard,
really. The sailing is just awefully slow and boring.
Once you got there, you'll notice all the police. We need to reach the customs
without being seen. We need to act like Solid Snake, Sam Fisher or James Bond
to get there. If, for some reason, you get caught, just bride the police, and
you're free to go.
Either way, find the hotel. Check your minimap to get there. Pay for a night
of good sleep, and you'll also get various objects. Notice the machine left of
the counter. You can use the scroll on this machine (it'll cost a bit, but not
much) to hear what your uncle has to say. You need to locate a local merchant,
who might just be able to help you. Go to your room when you're done.
A fresh morning, energy all full - ain't life beautiful? Head outside and a
Scottish man will talk to you. You can join their guild, and tell everyone to
wear mini-skirt for men. How nice.
You'll get a manual. Locate the four members using your minimap, and use the
manual on them. Once you found all four, they'll tell you the location of
Youssouf. Talk to this merchant, and he'll help you out.
Follow Youssouf for a bit, and you'll end up at the place you need to be.
However, mister Fix will walk in, and cause trouble. Being the naughty man you
are, you defend Youssouf using a very strong language (not really). Youssouf
says it's alright, and gives you the key to the tombe, so you can go inside.

FAQ [80.04.01]
==============================================================================
Q: Is it true you travelled around the world in 80 days?
A: No, but I once travelled from my school to my home by bus in less than 60
minutes!
Q: Woooooh! 60 minutes?
A: Yup.
Q: Did you go to jail when you did that?
A: No.
