The game is the prequel to the Sacred and the second installment in the series. It has been developed over the new game engine to show 3D elements. Story of the game revolves around T-energy, a life sustaining energy in Ancarnia which is now controlled by High Elves. But there is a conflict between two factions of High Elves over the control of T-energy. During the conflict between the two T-energy goes out of control and turns into a destructive energy wich mutates creatures, destroy cities and forces inhabitat.

Sacred 2 Fallen Angel demo includes one powerful playable character 'Seraphim'. There are total of six playable characters in the full version but only one is featured in demo. Then there is only one region based on the Elves in the demo. Sacred 2 Fallen Angel full version contains twelve regions including this one. Gameplay of Sacred 2 demo version is very small that includes some quests in Light campaign and few encounters with mythical beasts. While in full version there are 500 quests with never ending gameplay. In Sacred 2 Fallen Angel demo, Seraphim can level upto 10 levels only while Sacred 2 full version contains 200 level ups with more power to unleash.
